On November 10, 2022, the "SWUFE-Cushman & Wakefield" Master Class on Asset Valuation was held in Conference Room 608 of the Guanghua Building. Mr. Chi Hong, Director of Valuation & Advisory Services Chengdu Branch of Cushman & Wakefield, Ms. Lin Dan, Director of Valuation & Advisory Services Chengdu Branch of Cushman & Wakefield, Prof. He Jiaming, Dean of School of Finance and Taxation of Southwest University of Finance and Economics, Prof. Li Jianjun, Vice Dean of School of Public Finance and Taxation, Prof. Wang Jia, Director of Master of Asset Valuation Education Center, Prof. Zhou Xiaorong, Ms. Wang Xia and Ms. Li Rui, teachers of the School of Public Finance and Taxation, and all students of "SWUFE-Cushman & Wakefield" class attended the seminar.

The purpose of the meeting was to improve communication between instructors and students, consider ways to improve project instruction and practice sessions, encourage the development of elite composite real estate appraisal talents, and develop a national model for integrating industry and education. The first session was the sharing of students' learning experiences. The students spoke highly of the small class size of the program, the promotion of independent thinking, the in-depth communication and interaction between teachers and students, the fact that the teaching content is close to the frontiers of professional practice, etc. They were deeply impressed by the richness of the program. According to the students, the Cushman & Wakefield experts' unique perspectives and in-depth analyses of real estate appraisal cases had a particularly positive impact on their understanding of the field and the profession. This, in turn, inspired them to research and explore the field's professional knowledge to advance their professional skills and all-around abilities.

Afterward, teachers and students had a comprehensive and in-depth exchange on students' concerns about how to apply their knowledge to practice, how to enhance their core competitiveness, how to become an excellent professional in the workplace, how to achieve the transition from appraiser to consultant, and how to determine their future career plan. Ms. Lin Dan advised students to target market demands, think about career planning in advance, enhance their value, and develop core competitiveness by continuously enriching themselves.

Dean Professor He Jiaming encouraged students to be able to bear hardships and suffer in their studies and future careers and to do it with heart and responsibility. He advised students to cultivate the ability of independent learning actively, turn "I need to learn" into "I want to learn," focus on solidarity and collaboration, and accumulate the ability to fly high in the future. At the same time, he expected that with the joint efforts of the college, Cushman & Wakefield, and the students, the cooperative training program of "SWUFE-Cushman & Wakefield" would become a famous card.

Regardless of the original intention of establishment or the practice schedule, Cushman & Wakefield Director Chi Hong concluded that the joint training program is based on developing a group of industry elites in the asset appraisal profession and integrating the professional skills of the asset appraisal industry into the talent training link on campus. He underlined the need to concentrate on the varied integration of teaching methods and the teaching content's active focus on the industry and profession. To realize their worth and give their fair share of contributions to society in the future, he hoped that students would work hard to better themselves throughout their time in school, master their majors, and develop good virtual habits.

Through this plea, students expressed that they should build a learning method and framework suitable for themselves, create a cohesive shared learning and growth team, join hands in learning inquiry and practice, enhance each person's core competitiveness, live up to the times and the time, and strive to become outstanding talents in the field of real estate appraisal and asset management.
